And here we go in 2017: besides the projects going on in the company, the new year also brings up our newest website – more interactive and all visually reformulated. We have the traditional posts with fresh news from Sincronia, but the surfer can also access texts and special reports, exclusive interviews, vídeos, making ofs, and other availabe material in the platform. Designed and created from zero by the good folks at 83 Multimedia, in São Paulo – a company that has in their curriculum the sites for Itaú Cinemas, the São Paulo International Film Festival, among others –, the project has prioritized from its inception the elegant design, simplicity, functionality and an easy interface as well as the continuation of the site concept, always on the idea of being an interactive platform, instead of just a place to post the new Sincronia works, or simply a production company institutional website, as are the majority of them all.
“We’re a mix of a digital agency with a startup of ideas”, says Lucas Nogueira, founder and director of 83 MM, as the company is known. “We believe that in order to sell a product or service the brands need to build a transparent and healthy relationship with their clients. We want to help improve the world, motivating good relations between brands and people with what really makes the difference to them. That’s why we’ve decided to build our own methodology focusing in content and behaviour”, completes Lucas. This company philosophy is perfectly connected to that of Sincronia – which intends to be a production company also associated with these qualities, especially to a very strong and innovative value proposal.
“We initially looked for 83 to build the site for The Social Technology”, states producer Janaina Zambotti. “That was our first feature film project and we utilized the resources they offer to do a modern, simple and functional film website, like we always imagined. Then Emanuel (Mendes, owner and director at Sincronia), in the end of 2016, decided that it was about time to update the company site to something equally more modern, in the steps of today’s main platforms and electronic adresses overall.
The references were countless – from e-commerce platforms, sites like Apple’s (“A brand that both Lucas and Emanuel love”, says Janaina), other studio and production companies sites, and even Home Video distributors. “We needed to unite many things into one place”, continues Janaina. “We modestly wanted to do a website that could be the most complete possible, offering everything that’s usually associated to an audiovisual company, and also with the possibility of always expand”, completes Zambotti.
