Musical Project with Elzo Henschell Adds Up Luiz Maluly and Gets into Takeoff Mode
After being stalled for almost two years, due to the effects of the pandemic (the COVID-19 pandemic, which certainly affected hundreds of works around the globe), the musical project for Brazilian singer/songwriter Elzo Henschell, Sons – a mix of musical documentary showing a small tour of the artist throughout cities in the state of São Paulo and the recording of the first studio album of Elzo – finally starts getting into takeoff mode. After adding up director Edu Felistoque (see previous post), now it’s time for musical producer Luiz Maluly, one of Brazil’s most important in the musical arena, having produced artists such as Cassia Eller, bands like Titãs, Paralamas do Sucesso, besides duos like country music’s Chitãozinho & Xororó, who joins the Sincronia Filmes team for the making of this which promises to be one of the most interesting works in the production company so far.
Maluly will be responsible for the recording of Elzo’s album, besides taking care of all the technical part involving the finishing of the product. Sincronia’s plan, when the project is concluded, will be releasing it on a special edition DVD through the label of Sincronia’s distributor and evidently the digital physical disc. Both will be sold in stores everywhere as well as in the digital platforms who are partners of the production company, like Music Box Brazil and NOW and their subsidiaries.
To really start the project, Sincronia has made a short video with a relaxed and candid interview with both parties where they tell a bit about their personal trajectories. Watch it below.
